Obituary Regina B. Washington Dearing, GA – Ms. Regina Washington, 70, entered into rest January 23, 2020. Regina, the daughter of the late Buford Lamar Shepperd and the late Martha Brown Shepperd. She grew up in Hancock County, GA, but lived most of her life in Warrenton and Thomson. Regina was the retired manager of Super Curb and was a cosmetologist. She was a member of the Full Gospel Lighthouse Church. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a grandchild, Jena Rodgers. Survivors include her daughters, Lynn Rodgers (Mack) of Camak, Ga, Von Phillips (Mark) of Stapleton, GA, Robin Aycock (Randall) of California, Jackie Thompson of Warrenton, Ga; sisters, Brenda Anglin of Thomaston, GA, Sharon Shepperd of Gibson, Ga, Rosemary Washington of Warrenton, Ga; grandchildren, Christopher Rodgers, Dalton Rodgers, Ray Rodgers, Kevin Phillips, Daniel Phillips, Heather Bennett; and 8 great grandchildren; and beloved companion Bobby McGahee. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, January 27, 2020, at the Culverton Baptist Church with Rev. Ralph Kitchens officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, January 26, 2020 from 4 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
