Randall (Randy) Leon Munkres died Saturday January 18, 2020 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Reno, Nevada. He was born April 1962 to Robert and Carol Munkres (Campbell) in Liberal, Kansas. Randy married Holly Adair at Las Vegas, NV. He attended school at Kismet Grade School and Southwestern Heights; class of 1980. He enlisted into US Air Force in August 1980 where he was trained to be a Jet Engine Mechanic; he received an Honorable Discharge in 1995. After the Air Force he went to work with Mt. Vernon Plastics as an Injection Mold and Thermoforming Mechanic, then Royal Sierra Extrusion as a Maintenance Manager moving into air compressor Sales for Atlas Copco. Randy enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys, Nascar Racing, and traveling the US, especially the San Juan Islands. Randy is survived by his wife Holly Munkres of Sparks, NV, one son, Tyler Munkres of Merced, CA, two daughters, Tiffany Boyer of Santa Barbara, CA and Chelsey Skower of Denver, CO; two grandchildren, Arianna Munkres and Violet Boyer; Mother, Carol Foster and husband Bill of Liberal, KS; three sisters, Candi Prater and husband Rick of Liberal, KS, Tina Wedel of Edmond, OK, Gina Scott and husband Mike of Cypress, TX; Several Nieces & Nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Robert, Paternal Grandparents, Elmer and Lucille Munkres, Maternal Grandparents, Carl and Mildred Campbell.
