Phyllis Ann Treadwell, age 67, went home to be with her Lord at her home on Thursday, January 30, 2020. She was born at her home in Riverdale, GA on March 3, 1952 to the late Claude Etheridge, Sr. and Ruby Turner Etheridge. Phyllis spent her final days surrounded by family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, John Treadwell, of Newnan; son, David Treadwell and his wife Dara of Senoia, GA; daughter, Lisa Battalio and her husband Michael, of Senoia, GA; siblings, Joyce Hood of Kathleen, GA, Claudia Nelson of Acworth, GA, and Ernie Etheridge of Blairsville, GA. She is also survived by 8 grandsons and 3 great grandchildren. The funeral service remembering Phyllis is Sunday, February 2, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Heatherwood Baptist Church, 721 Shenandoah Blvd., in Newnan with Rev. Jim Spradlin officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12:00 PM until service time at the church. A private family interment will follow the service on family property in Pine Mountain, GA. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Phyllis’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memorials Processing, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to American Kidney Fund, 11921 Rockville Pike Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852.
