Phyllis Ann (Maxwell) Phillips, passed away January 30, 2020. She was born March 10, 1941 to Norman E. and Jessie Mae Maxwell. She attended Anderson High School and was a member of New Life Church of the Nazarene for over 50 years. She formerly worked at the Post Restaurant in Pendleton and The Diner. Phyllis is survived by children, Gary Phillips, Larry Phillips, DD Phillips, Carol Phillips (Danny) Beeman; grandchildren, Jennifer Phillips (Jack) Roberton, Dustin (Amber) Phillips, Drew (Krista) Phillips, Kevin (Kayla) Ellis Jr, 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Judy Phipps; aunt, Ethel Stanley and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lonzie Phillips on July 24, 1972; son, Donald Phillips on April 17, 2015; grandson, Joshua Farrington on June 21, 1995; sister, Glendora Baker on August 26, 2013 and niece, Michelle Richardson; infant brother, Ronald Maxwell and sister Carolyn Maxwell. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3, from 11-1pm at New Life Nazarene Church, 3615 Raible Ave, Anderson, IN followed by the funeral at 1pm with Rev. Al Dayton officiating.
