Phyllis’ Obituary Phyllis Ann Beer, age 93, Nappanee, died unexpectedly of natural causes at 10:41 am, Monday, December 30, 2019 at Elkhart General Hospital Emergency Room. She was born December 18, 1926 in Goshen to Roy and Orpha (Kring) Blosser. Mrs. Beer was a lifetime area resident. She was a graduate of New Paris High School and had worked at 20th Century Restaurant. Surviving are her children, Barney (Natalie) Beer, Goshen, Tyrann Beer, Nappanee, Rodney (Kathy) Beer, Syracuse, Tracy (Dee) Beer, Nappanee; grandchildren, Scott (Alex) Beer, Ft. Lauderdale, Brooks (Kip) Goebel, Phoenix, AZ, Ryan (Erin) Beer, Nappanee, Kevin (Laurie) Beer, Milford, Matthew (Alyssa) Beer, Syracuse, Jason (Whitney) Beer, Milford, Travis (Julie) Beer, Nappanee, Anna Kitson, Seattle, WA, Katherine Kitson, Stockholm, Sweden; 11 great grandchildren; and sister, Lonita (“Dunny”) Checcio, Elkhart. She was preceded in death by her great granddaughter, Hope Beer, and brother, Robert Blosser. Immediate family Graveside Services will take place at Milford Cemetery. Arrangements are with Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. Memorial contributions may be given to Riley Children’s Hospital. Read More
