MR. PERRY S. DAVIS, AGE 43 Perry S. Davis, age 43 of Strasburg, IL passed away Wednesday January 22, 2020 at IU Health University Hospital, Indianapolis, IN following a period of declining health. Born June 22, 1976 in Urbana, IL Perry was one of three children of Gary Lee and Janice C. (McCrory) Davis. On September 7, 2002 he married Andrea (Newcomb) and she survives. Perry worked for Patterson Technologies, a major supplier of equipment, software and technical support for dental offices. He was a member of the Cornerstone Community Fellowship Church in Shelbyville, IL. Raised at Highland Church of Christ, Robinson, IL he had a love for music and enjoyed playing guitar with the church group as well as other bands. He also learned to play “Turkey in the Straw” on his great-grandfather’s fiddle. Survivors include his mother and step-father, Janice C. and John Garrard, Robinson, IL; a son, Daniel Scott Davis, Strasburg, IL, two daughters, Hannah Marie Davis and Macy Lynn Davis, Strasburg, IL; a brother and sister-in-law, Darren and Carmen Davis, Robinson, IL; a sister, Sara Davis, Robinson, IL; uncles and aunts, Gale Lynn and Kim Davis, Hutsonville, IL, James Noble and Judy McCrory, Lawrenceville, IL, Rich and Cindy Ackman, Grant, FL; one niece, Natalie Davis and one nephew, Zachary Davis, both of Robinson, IL; Preceding him in death were his father, Gary Davis, 2009; grandparents, James O. and Geraldine (Swope) McCrory; Harry L. and Mary A. (Robinson) Davis and an aunt, Kelli Anne Davis in 1991. The Funeral Service will be Monday January 27, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL with Pastor Mont Mitchell and Pastor Mark Mitchell officiating. Visitation will be Sunday January 26, 2020 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery, rural Palestine, IL.
