Peggy’s Obituary Margaret “Peggy” Barton, 66, of Topeka passed away on January 23, 2020. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Davidson Funeral Home. Peggy was born June 8, 1953 in Topeka the daughter of Harry and Catherine Ayers. Peggy worked for AAA of Kansas prior to retiring. She enjoyed cooking and baking, especially baking with her grandchildren, gardening, and fixing up their family home. She was married to Larry Silver on December 1, 1967. They later divorced. Peggy married Bill Barton on March 22, 1996. He survives at their home in Topeka. Other survivors include children Tonya (John) Curran of Maple Hill, Jennifer (Johnney) Hudson of Topeka, Shawn (Bobbi) Silver of Auburn, Travis Silver of Topeka, Tracy (Janet) Barton of St. Joseph, Missouri, Stacie (Scott) Vandeweerd of Horton and Christina Day of St. Joseph; Missouri; 16 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Janice Bagg, Judith Miller, Mildred Ayers and John Ayers. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Davidson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Friday evening February 7th at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
