In loving memory of Pedro Alcaraz, Jr. who passed away peacefully at the age of forty-four surrounded by the love of his family on January 24, 2020. Pedro proceeded his father, Pedro Alcaraz, Sr. and mother, Nelly (Lebron) Alcaraz. Also known as Pete, Peter, Piro and when his wife really needed him to focus, Alcaraz. He was born and raised in Perth Amboy, New Jersey on June 10, 1975. At the age of fourteen his family moved to Houston, Texas. He became the faithful husband to Sandra Alcaraz and a dedicated father to two beautiful girls, Alessandra and Fernanda Alcaraz and embarrassing his brother in law, Mario Barron, as his own son. He has eleven God children that he and Sandra have christened and baptized. It was here in Houston, TX that he began his career within the fasteners industry for 26 years and worked for Sigma Fasteners for the last 10 years as a General Manager and continued his education receiving a certification in Six Sigma Black Belt, an Associate’s degree in Applied Science in Management and an Associate’s of Science in Business Management from Lone Star Community College. He later received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management at the University of Southern Columbia in Alabama in October 2019. At the age of nineteen he ventured out to the music industry becoming a member of three groups, Delirio where he played the bajo to with his cousins, Reflejo playing the bass and bajo to, and El Nuevo Encuentro where he played the bass and was second voice. He served in his community church at St John Newman in the music ministry playing the guitar during services and was a member of the Bible group with his wife. Some of his hobbies consisted of watching football and baseball. He rooted for the Jets and the Mets. He also enjoyed working on his vehicles and attending the annual auto car show. Pedro loved grooming his dog Lola. He enjoyed spending time and traveling with his wife and daughters. For the last fifteen years he has battled with gastric cancer, fighting five rounds of treatments. He has fought the good fight and kept his faith through the years. Pedro, now you will receive your crown. We are all so grateful to have had this time with you and you will always be remembered for your perseverance, strength, love, joy, dedication, bravery and faith in the Lord.
