Obituary On the morning of Friday, January 24, 2020, while surrounded by her loved ones, Patricia Freeman, age 72, of Morganton, North Carolina, passed away at her residence following a brief battle with cancer. The daughter of the late A V and Janie Louise Miller Dockery, she was born in Clayton, Georgia on May 12, 1947. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Robert Freeman, Sr., who passed away on November 26, 2019. Patricia leaves behind to cherish her precious memories, four children, Bobby Freeman of Old Fort, Debbie Freeman of Morganton, Christy Deal (Wayne) of Valdese, and Sally Freeman of Nebo. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and her two canine companions, Allie and Bumpkin. In honoring Mrs. Freeman’s wishes, there are no services planned at this time.
