Nancy Ellen Miers, age 87 of Greenbrier passed away Thursday, January 23, 2020 at NorthCrest Medical Center. Arrangements entrusted to Austin & Bell Funeral Home, 2619 Hwy 41 S., Greenbrier, TN. Visitation will be 10am until 12pm on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Austin & Bell Funeral Home Greenbrier. The funeral service will be at 12pm on Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Don Sensing officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Nashville. She was born in Johnson City, TN on February 13, 1932 to the late Harrison and Edna Brown MIers. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Arnold Miers, Clay Miers, Eddie Miers and a sister, Iris Gwillim. She was an avid reader, loved gardening and being outdoors and was a good friend to all. She was retired from Piedmont Natural Gas Company and was a member of Greenbrier United Methodist Church. She is survived by many friends and extended family.
