Obituary Monica K. Belsher, 71 of Taylorville passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at 7:00 A.M. in St. John’s Hospital, Springfield. She was born on September 19, 1948 in Taylorville, Il, the daughter of Walter and Freida (Hamilton) Green. She married James Belsher on April 8, 1967 in Morrisonville and they later divorced. Monica retired from the Christian County Sheriff’s office after serving 26 years as a dispatcher. She was a member of St. Maurice Catholic Church, Morrisonville She is survived by her son: James W. Belsher Jr. of Taylorville; daughter: Laura Humphrey of Taylorville; grandchildren: Jake and John Beard, Jenna, Jade, D’Artagnan “Jess”, Jewel, and Jemma Humphrey and Steven Lowis; great-grandchildren: Karsen Beard, Harper and Lily Humphrey. She is preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 17, 2020 from 3:00 P.M.-5:00 P.M. at Sutton Memorial Home. Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Friday, January 17, 2020 in the funeral home with Pastor Chad Foster officiating. Memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society P.O.
