Michael R. Theil, 67, passed away on December 25, 2019 in Laurel, DE. Michael, affectionately known as Michael Ray, was born in Charleston, WV on June 7, 1952. He graduated from Seaford High School in Seaford, DE. He retired as an iron worker with Iron Workers Local #401 on April 19, 2008 after 27 years. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and a member of the Sus Aeromodelers Club. He loved the outdoors, especially building and flying model airplanes, motorcycles, fishing, and gardening. Michael is preceded in death by his father, George J. Theil, Sr., his mother Aulta O. Theil, and his oldest brother, George J. Theil, Jr. Michael is survived by a sister-in-law, Susie Theil, 2 brothers Jamie Theil and Jon (Maria) Theil, 2 nieces Christina Theil and Elizabeth Theil, and a grand-niece, Ciana Lee. A Celebration of Life service will be held by the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be sent to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society by visiting www.donate.lls.org.
