MICHAEL’s Obituary Michael James Ostergaard, 49 years old of Paddock Lake, WI, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at his home. He was born January 1, 1971 in Kenosha, WI to Neal Ostergaard and Trudi Sigman. He served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corps and was a veteran of Operation Desert Storm, Desert Shield, and Iraqi Freedom. After serving in the Marines, Mike became an over the road truck driver for over 20 years, and for a short time he owned a truck as an owner operator until he was diagnosed in 2018. He loved driving his truck, fishing, and Harley Davidson motorcycles. But most of all he loved his daughters. He was a loving father and friend with a magnetic personality. You could always expect a funny smart-alec comment or joke from him to brighten your day. When he passed, he didn’t want people to be sad about the bad parts, he wanted everyone to celebrate the good times and the life he shared with everyone he loved. Michael is survived by his daughters, Jenifer and Jesica Ostergaard; his parents, Neal Ostergaard and Trudi Sigman; his siblings, Neal Ostergaard, Christopher Ostergaard, Michael Fox, Katie Fox, Adam Reeves; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clarence Stanley Ostergaard and Nina Beckman; and his maternal grandparents, Warren Sigman and Iris Sigman. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 14th at 2:00 p.m. at 885 Main St Antioch IL, the entry is in the rear. Interment will be private.
