Max Elwood Tyson, Jr., 67, of Hedgesville passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2020. Born November 2, 1952 in Martinsburg, WV he is the son of Phyllis Haymaker Tyson and the late Max Elwood Tyson. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing cards. He was a great gardener. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Max Tyson III and significant other, Missy Kees; one grandson, Sawyer James Tyson; two brothers, Terry Tyson and wife, Orpha, Steve Tyson and wife, Debbie; and two step-daughters, Michaela and McKenzie McDonough and their mother, Donna Facciola. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Tyson; two sisters, Sharon Welty and Phyllis Minghini; and step-son, Miles McDonough. Receiving Wednesday, January 29, 2020 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at 11:00AM at South Berkeley Chapel. Interment will be in Central Chapel Cemetery.
