Obituary Mr. Maurice Price, age 59, of Union Mills, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Deer Park Health and Rehabilitation in Nebo following a period of declining health. Mr. Price was born in Rutherford County on August 11, 1960 to the late George Thomas Price and Margaret Carpenter Price. His outgoing and fun nature won him many friends and he will be remembered for his ability to make people smile. He had a real passion for music and self-taught himself to play the piano and guitar. Maurice worked in the construction business and attended New Bethel Independent Church. He will be dearly missed by those who knew him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Price. Surviving are two brothers, Chris Price (Rhonda) of Union Mills and George Price (Galit) of White Plains, NY; a sister, Lisa Price of Rutherfordton; five nieces, LaToya Wilkins, Sanita Pellan, Brooke Price, Britny Price and Mya Price; and three nephews, Chris Price II, Ridge Price and Justin Price.
