The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at New Hope Cemetery. J.D. Dickerson and James Aaron will officiate. Mrs. Parnell was preceded in death by her Father-Monroe Tidwell; Mother-Dora Tidwell; Sisters-Felma Short and Ethlene Capps; Brother-Virgil Tidwell; Husband-F.L. Parnell. She is survived by her Daughters-Marnita Parnell of Jasper; Daughter-in-law-Victoria Parnell of Jasper; Son-Fred L. Parnell of Jasper; Grandsons-John Nathanael Parnell, Thomas Allen Parnell and Elijah Loyal Parnell. Pallbearers will be Bartley Wyers, Jerome McClendon, Tommy Mauldin, Lloyd Maudlin, Ray Tidwell and Marlon Pulliam.
