Howard, 69, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2020 at RWJ University/St. Barnabas Hospital in Hamilton. Born in Trenton, she was a resident of Mansfield Township, NJ. She was a graduate of Notre Dame High School, Class of 1969 and received her degree in Nursing from Mercer County College. Mary Jane was a Pediatric Nurse and had worked at Helene Fuld Medical Center and the Presbyterian Home at Meadow Lakes. She enjoyed shopping, crafting, spending time with her family, her beloved dog, Kissy and she will be deeply missed. Predeceased by her father, Bernard Knapp, the original owner of Bernie’s Bicycle Shop, she is survived by her mother Rose Mary Knapp (Sinkowski), her beloved husband of 28 years, Charles E. Howard; her son, Bernard (BJ) Wadsworth; son, Timothy Wadsworth and his wife, Claudia; daughter, Rose Mary Hanley; son, Taylor Howard and six grandchildren: Megan, Jeremy and Hunter Wadsworth, Karl Hanley Jr., Mikaleigh and Starlie Shivers and her closest friend and “sister” Donna Palmucci. Funeral Services will be 1 pm Friday, January 31 at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. Family and friends may call Friday from 11am until 1pm. Interment will be private. Donations can be made in Mary Jane’s name to Serenity Hospice Care. Print Obituary
