Mary Elizabeth (Brown) Palmer passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2020 in Bloomington, Indiana. She was born in Bloomington, Indiana on August 9, 1937 to Arthur H. and Alpha E. (Wood) Brown. Mary graduated from Bloomington High School in 1957. On October 5, 1957, she married Joseph A. Palmer from Muncie, Indiana. They lived in Willow Springs, Illinois for 40 years. They had one daughter, Lisa Jo Palmer, who passed away in June 2012. Mary’s brother, Arthur Ray Brown passed away in October 2012. Her daughter’s boyfriend, Brian passed away in November 2013, which is when Mary decided to move back to Bloomington to be close to Arthur Ray’s family and her cousins. Mary was a member of the Assembly God Church. Mary is survived by her sister-in-law, Virginia Brown, Nephews, Dale Ray Brown and Terry Lee Brown, niece Tina (Brown) Runyon, and cousins, Rosetta McKee, Barbara Lyon, and Virginia M. Cox. Mary went to Heaven to be with her husband, Joseph D. Palmer, daughter, Lisa Jo Palmer and her boyfriend, Brian, brother, Arthur Ray Brown, and parents, Arthur H. and Alpha E (Wood) Brown.
