Marion’s Obituary Funeral services for Mr. Marion William Verheyden will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 3, 2020, at Harmony Church, Deville, with Reverend Richie Craig officiating. Interment will follow in Big Island Memorial Gardens, Deville, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville. Mr. Verheyden, 73, of Deville, entered eternal rest on Monday, January 27, 2020, in his residence. He was a retired plant machinist with Dresser Industries Valve Plant with thirty years of service. He was a member of Harmony Church in Deville, a television repair man and an avid cattleman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Ruth Verheyden and one brother, Herman Jerry Verheyden. Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his loving wife of forty-five years, Martha George Verheyden, of Deville; one son, Daniel Verheyden and his wife, Mabel, of Marion IN.; one brother, Edward Ray Verheyden, of Deville and four grandchildren, Nathan Verheyden, Zoe Verheyden, Micah Verheyden and Anna Verheyden. Friends may call at Harmony Church, Deville, on Sunday, February 2, 2020, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Monday, February 3, 2020, at 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Pallbearers honored to serve are: Lane Belgard, Derek Dalgleish, Rodney Belgard, Parson Belgard, Eddie Verheyden and Jason Radcliff. Honorary pallbearers will be Rusty Dalgleish, Wordy Belgard, Micky Burch, Troy Verheyden and Daniel Verheyden.
