Marian “Lee” Stubbs (nee Fulk), born October 31, 1925, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2020 at her daughter’s home in Strongsville. She was born in Byesville, Ohio and had been a resident of the Cleveland area for over 60 years. Lee was a proud 1946 graduate of Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago with a degree in dental hygiene. Lee enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, golfing, traveling, knitting, reading, and playing bridge. She and her late husband Bill were longtime members of Elyria Country Club. Survivors include her daughter, Rebecca “Becky” Murphy of Strongsville; former son-in-law, Bruce Murphy of Strongsville; grandchildren, Kevin (Sddita) Blackburn, Scott Blackburn, Molly Murphy, William “Bill” (Megan) Murphy, Margaret “Maggie” Murphy; great-grandchildren, Rylee and Addilyn Blackburn, William ”Liam”, Norah and Lucas Murphy. She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, William “Bill” Stubbs; daughter, Lisbeth “Lis” Blackburn; son-in-law, Douglas Blackburn; sister, Margaret “Peg” Seaver; parents, Dr. Ira Lee and Mary (nee Morse) Fulk. Visitation Friday, January 10, 2020 from 9:30-10:30 AM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd, North Ridgeville. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Byesville.
