Linda’s Obituary Linda Neumann, 84, Bismarck, peacefully passed away on January 24, 2020 with her family by her side. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck. Following the memorial service, the family invites you stay for a time of fellowship. Sieglinde Erna “Linda” Neumann was born on August 24,1935 to Albert and Erna Pfisterer in Stuttgart, Germany. There she fell in love with Martin Neumann. Martin had moved to Canada, so to be with the love of her life, she boarded a ship and came over to join him in Canada, where they were married in August 26, 1954. They wanted to further share their love, and adopted Diane in 1962 to make their family complete. As a young family, they moved to Anaheim, California where they were active in Sunkist Baptist Church and their community. Linda loved animals, especially cats and was often found being the neighborhood cat caretaker. She loved her family, and some of her greatest joys were her three grandchildren, whom she loved to spoil. Following the passing of her dear Martin, Linda spent her last years with her family in North Dakota, where she traded the warm temperatures for being closer to her family. She was blessed to get to know her great grandchildren and loved to get them to laugh. She is survived by her daughter, Diane Stork; grandchildren Christopher (Sarah) Stork, Katherine (Elliot) Carvell; Jonathan (Taylor) Stork; great grandchildren Jeron, Ryder, Maris, Nora. She was preceded in death by her husband Martin, parents Erna Endress, Albert Pfisterer, son-in-law Gordon Stork, and brother Gunther. Read More
