Obituary Linda Benninger, 67, of Butler passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at The Grove at Harmony, Harmony, PA. Born October 2, 1952 in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Linus and Rita (Osche) Cyper. She was a homemaker, she had previously worked as a seamstress of the Bobbi Brooks clothing. She was a member of St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church in Butler. She enjoyed needlepoint, crocheting and crafting. Surviving is her husband, William Benninger whom she married October 12, 1974. Her son, Kevin (Robyn) Benninger of Butler. Two daughters, Renea (Frank) Lumanog of VA and Megan Benninger of NC. Her grandson, Jacob and granddaughters, Ava and Lydia. Her sister, Mary “Peggy” (Carey) of OH. Numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham St. Butler, PA 16001 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Friday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 9:00 am at St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church, 210 St. Wendelin Rd, Butler, PA 16002. Rev. Matthew McClain, Pastor, to officiate.
