Lettie’s Obituary Lettie Pauline Cook, 94, of Pilot Point, TX, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2020 in Pilot Point, TX. Pauline was born July 20, 1925 in Bardwell, TX to John Wesley and Dollie Margaret (Cash) Pilgrim. She was one of eight siblings that preceded her in death. Pauline married Buddy Wayne Cook on April 23, 1945 in Whitesboro, TX. She spent her adult life as a loving mother and spouse. Pauline was a Christian and member of the Pilot Point Church of Christ. Prior to her husband’s passing, Buddy and Pauline were active in the church and helped fund numerous ministries. Pauline’s proudest memories were witnessing the baptism of three of her grandchildren, Paul Morris, Victoria Morris, and Kayden Shivers. Lettie is survived by her daughter, Paula Clare Margaret Cook; son, Christopher Ivan Cook; grandchildren, Joell Morris and Wesley Shivers; great-grandchildren, Paul Morris, Victoria Morris, Kayden Shivers, and Kannon Shivers; and niece, Ruby Mae Culverhouse. Lettie was preceded in death by her parents, John and Dollie Pilgrim; husband, Buddy Wayne Cook; son, Alfred Wayne Cook; siblings, John Pilgrim, Ethel Todd, Charlie Pilgrim, Ambrose Pilgrim, Lorena Blackburn, Ina Mae Jones, and Ruby Ola Kays. A memorial service at church will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Pilot Point Church of Christ in Pilot Point, TX with Craig Tullis, officiating.
