Laura Mae Estes, 79, of Belton passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 in a local hospital. Laura was born to Joseph Edward and Lillie Mae Turner on December 25, 1940 in Sabinal, Texas. Laura graduated high school in 1959 and married her high school sweetheart Albert Lee Estes in June of 1959. Laura loved everyone she met and she enjoyed playing bingo and watching her westerns on television. Laura was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Memorial service for Laura will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton with Pastor H.K. Ballard officiating. Laura is survived by her husband of 60 years, Albert Lee Estes of Belton; her sons, Albert Estes and Lee Estes; her daughter, Laura Massie; her sisters, Mary Jean Lilie of Sabinal and Lola Marie Sheedy of San Antonio; her four grandchildren; and her ten great grandchildren. Laura is preceded in death by her brother, Joseph “J.E.” Turner and her daughter, Linda King (Estes). Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.
