Kevin P. Gordley, 58, of Pratt, KS and formerly of McPherson, KS, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family members, on Saturday, January 25, 2020, at The Cedars, McPherson. He was employed in the oil industry for Halliburton Services and most recently was an area manager for Basic Energy in Pratt. Kevin was born on November 2, 1961, in Great Bend, KS, the son of Dennis and Shirley Gordley. Kevin attended school in Great Bend, Ness City, and graduated from McPherson High School in 1980. He received an associate’s degree from Barton County Community College. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid KU and KC Chiefs fan. Kevin was always quick with a joke, a smile, and a laugh. Survivors include: his parents, Dennis and Shirley Gordley of McPherson, KS; brother, Kent Gordley and wife, Cecilia, of Emporia, KS; sister, Paula Moss and husband, Craig, of Olathe, KS; nephew, Benjamin Moss of Lincoln, NE; and niece, Alexandra Moss of Olathe, KS. A private family graveside service will be held at McPherson Cemetery.
