Obituary Kenneth Fabula passed away peacefully at the NJ Firemen’s Home in Boonton on Thursday, January 23, 2020. He was born in Bayonne to the late Helen (nee: Makar) and Michael Fabula and was a long-time resident, where he experienced great childhood memories. Mr. Fabula always loved to help others and go above and beyond, which is why becoming a Fireman was the perfect career choice. He worked for the Bayonne Fire Department for his entire career, once performing CPR on a child he saved from a burning building. Mr. Fabula enjoyed cooking, collecting coins, building models and ships in a bottle, string art, and watching TV shows, such as cop shows, The Price is Right, old –time gangster movies, and the Honeymooners. Mr. Fabula is survived by his beloved sister, Marilyn Benford; his loving niece Susan Benford Jung, and her husband, Eric; his cherished nephew, Tim Benford, and his wife, Kristin; and many loving cousins and friends. The funeral will be conducted by Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. on Saturday, January 25, 2020. Visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. with a service to follow at 10:30 a.m. Interment will then take place at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.
