Kenneth Charles Boerger March 23, 1937 – January 21, 2020 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Kenneth Charles Boerger, 82, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Tuesday afternoon, January 21, 2020 at William Newton Hospital. Born March 23, 1937 in Latham, Kansas, he was the son of John Charles and Doris Dixie (Allen) Boerger. He was raised and received his education in Bentley, Kansas, graduating from Bentley High School. Kenneth joined the United States Air Force in October 1958. He proudly served his country for four years and received an honorable discharge on June 26, 1962. Kenneth worked in the aircraft industry as a jig builder. He was a member of the Pleasant Valley Church. His family includes his brother Duane (Georgeann) Boerger; and his sisters, Carol (David) Jacob and Marilyn Hanna. In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by a brother Leroy. Graveside services were held at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery. Miles Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements. A memorial has been established in Kenneth’s name for Pleasant Valley Church. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
