Obituary Juanita F. Shera, age 97 of Suwanee, GA died January 14, 2020 at home surrounded by her family. Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Old Union Cemetery in Jamestown, IN. Juanita was born in Macedonia, IL and worked in quality assurance at Naval Avionics before the birth of her daughter. She was married to her loving husband James H. Shera for 42 years prior to his passing. She is a beloved mother and grandmother and lived her life with love, laughter, and dedication to family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Loretta Manning; son-in-law, Randy Manning; and granddaughter, Erica Manning of Suwanee, GA. In addition, her niece, Jackie Lobo of Sacramento, CA; nephew, Rex Shera and niece, Rita Davis both of Indianapolis, IN; niece, Betty Jo Riendel; niece, Patty Everett; nephew, Dick Ramsey; great-niece, Darin Smithwick; and many other loving nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday, January 17 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bill Head Funeral Home Duluth Chapel. We celebrate her life well lived on earth and her journey to heaven. Juanita will be loved, missed, and honored forever.
