Joan’s Obituary Joan was born In Dayton, Ohio on November 30,1931. She passed away January 3, 2020 where she lived for many years in Tampa, Florida. She was manager of Admitting at Lakeland General Hospital before retiring. She was a loving and caring mother to Jim Rossiter, Marilyn Fralix, Marjorie Taylor and Scot Ullery; grandchildren are Jennifer, Candace (deceased), Jimmy, Dawn, Kim, Christopher, Leslie, Sabrina, Tamara, Stephany, Ashton and Dawson; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She has a surviving older sister, Vera Chasteen and a younger brother, Joey Kaehler; and her two loving and faithful companions, her dogs, Max and Katie. She loved to play the piano and crochet blankets for all her loved ones. Joan was a dedicated Tampa Bay Bucs fan. In lieu of flowers the family is asking to send donations in her name to one of her favorite charities, The Humane Society or Hospice Care. Services will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell Florida on January 31, 2020, where she will be laid to rest next to her deceased husband, Fred Owens. Read More
