Obituary Jerry Earl McDaniel was born November 13, 1960, in Fort Worth, Texas to Clarence Edgar and Dois Jean (Caldwell) McDaniel. He passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 16, 2020, at his home in Duncan. He was 59. There are no services planned at this time. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center. Jerry was a 1979 graduate of Kennedale High School and was employed as a tow truck operator for a wrecker service. He enjoyed driving his wrecker. He was formerly employed in construction and also did yard work. Riding bicycles was a favorite pastime. He loved dogs. He loved family gatherings. He loved being able to take care of his sister, Melinda. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Dorthy “Sue” (McDaniel) Stanley; and brothers-in-law, Tommy Johnston and Mark Harris. Jerry is survived by his sisters: Melinda Harris of Duncan and Barbra Johnston of Fort Worth; brother, David McDaniel of Arlington; nephews, Jimmy Stanley, Scotty Johnson, and Danny Johnston; and nieces, Bobbie Simmons and Candie Marshall.
