A private ceremony will be held at a later date. Jennifer Gates was born April 26, 1947 in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. She loved nature and was a lifelong artist who studied at the Layton School of Art in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Jennifer was loved deeply and will be missed. Jennifer was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Ellen Sum; and her brothers, Ralph and Raymond Sum. Survivors: She is survived by her loving husband, Bruce; and her sisters Tina (Mark) Westphal and Mary (Dan) Beyer. Print Obituary
