Obituary Jay Hunter Trovillion, age 53, of Metropolis, Illinois passed away on Friday, January 17, 2020 at his home surrounded by loved ones. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at St. Stephens Church in Massac County with Pastor Tom Emmerson officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the funeral hour at the church on Tuesday. Jay is survived by his companion, Kristi Korte of Metropolis; son, Logan Trovillion of Metropolis; brother, Jeff Trovillion and wife, Shelly of Metropolis; mother, Linda Trovillion of Metropolis; aunt, Judith Sullivan of Atlanta, GA; stepson, Sam Garner; several other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and, nephews. He is also survived by Minnie, Frank, Bernie, Chico, his two cats and two dogs. He was preceded is death by his father, Michael Trovillion; brother, Jimmy Trovillion. Memorials can made in Jay’s name to Project Hope, P.O. Box 125, Metropolis, IL 62960 or American Diabetes Association, 425 S. Woods Mill Road, Chesterfield, MO 63017.
