Obituary James William Marsh, 85, of Bentonville, AR passed away Friday, January 17, 2020 at the Legacy Village Circle of Life in Bentonville. James was born on June 29, 1934 in Joplin, Missouri, a son of Eugene Reading and Mildred Bass Reading. He was the widower of the late Lana Sue Marsh, whom he married on Feb 12, 1964 in Stillwell, Oklahoma, and preceded him in death in 2002. Jim was a truck driver for most of his life, but also enjoyed mechanicing and “tinkering” with various projects. He enjoyed going to the lake, fishing and water skiing. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served his country with honor during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by one daughter, Renee Cox of Bentonville; one brother, Doug Reading of Jones, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Danielle Green and J.D. Bradley; three great grandchildren along with numerous other family members and friends. He was also preceded in death by a loving companion Billie Gibson, two brothers and one sister.
