Obituary James Mackey, 73, of Smithville, died January 4, 2020 at his residence. Private services will be held. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. James was born August 26, 1946 in Wooster to Eva {Bucklew} Mackey. James had worked at Wooster Office Equipment, Rayco, and Orrville Trucking before retiring in 2009. He owned P & J’s Upholstery Shop with his former wife for 25 years. James enjoyed horse riding, spending time with his grandson, cars, auctions, and attending swap meets. James will be deeply missed by children Deanna (Scott) Thompson of Rittman, Shelly (Dennis) Smith of Wooster, Angela (Mike) Sigler of Jeromesville; grandchildren Ben Thompson, Nathan (Megan) Smith, Jared Smith, Ryan Mackey, Sean Sigler; two great-grandchildren; brother Vern (Karla) Mackey; sister Geneva (Don) Anderson; and many nieces and nephews.
