Obituary James B. Lappin. Esq. Beloved Husband, Brother and Uncle, 75 Mr. James B.Lappin, Esq., 75, of Pine Brook, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston. Visitation will be on Friday, January 3 at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley 540 Franklin Avenue from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. There will be a funeral service celebrated at the funeral home on Saturday, January 4 at 10:00 a.m. The interment will be at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield. Mr. Lappin was born in Newark, NJ and resided in Pine Brook for the past 33 years. He was a 1972 graduate of Fairleigh Dickenson University, Madison, and earned his law degree in 1977 from Temple University, Philadelphia. Mr. Lappin practiced law for many years in East Rutherford and later in Parsippany. He was a member of the New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania Bar Associations. Mr. Lappin was a Medic in the Army National Guard during the Vietnam Era. He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years Maureen (nee Kennedy) Lappin, his loving sister Patricia DiBiasi, and his dear nieces and nephews Tracy, Janyne, Cara, Evan and Kevin. Mr. Lappin is predeceased by his parents James E. and Madaline (nee Kopf) Lappin, and his sister Maureen E. O’Donnell. He loved and missed his golden retriever, Molly.
