Irene’s Obituary Funeral service for Irene S. Dachs (nee Schultz) 89 of Libertyville formerly of Vernon Hills is 11 AM Saturday February 1, 2020 at Ascension Cemetery 1920 Buckley Rd. Libertyville. She was born June 20, 1930 in Chicago and died Monday January 20, 2020 at Spring Meadows in Libertyville. Irene attended Wells High School in Chicago and was retired from Allstate Insurance Co. in Northbrook, IL. She enjoyed solving “Word Find”. She was an avid reader, enjoyed dancing and watching TV Westerns. She is survived by her brother Richard W. Schultz Sr., her nephews Richard W. (Anna) Schultz Jr., Ronald W. Schultz, Randolph W. (Margaret) Schultz, Robert (Mary) Schultz, her nieces Carol (Rick) Shelton, Janice (James) Young, Dianne (Timothy) Catalano, grandnephews Christopher (Lauren), the late Jason, Andrew, Tyler, Trevor, Tanner, grand nieces Heather, Darla, Lori, Trista, Christine, Kelly, great grandnephew Blayz, great grandniece Laney, grand step-nephews Jason and Brian. She was preceded in death by her sister in-law Sophie M. Schultz, her siblings William (Lillian), Emil (Mildred), Dolores (Joseph) and Genevieve.
