Mrs. Helen Kelly West, 72, of Bostic, died Saturday, December 28, 2019. Helen was the widow of Denmon “Pro” West, and a daughter of the late John J. Kelly and Helen Gilmartin Kelly of Southampton, NY. She retired from the US Postal Service after 31 years of service, and was an avid golfer. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She is survived by her sons, Chuck TenBroeck of Memphis, TN and Gregg TenBroeck and his wife Laura, of Ellenboro; her daughter, Sarah TenBroeck of Forest City; her sister, Maureen Wilson of Columbus, OH; her brother, John T. Kelly and his wife Carol, of Walnut Creek, CA; and her 5 grandchildren, Jessica TenBroeck Carroll, Jay TenBroeck, Dylan TenBroeck, Patrick TenBroeck, and Addison TenBroeck; and her cherished nieces, nephews, and their families. The family will receive friends from 4 pm until 6 pm Thursday, January 2, 2020 at the residence of Gregg TenBroeck, at 1155 Old US 74 Highway, Ellenboro. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1024 West Main Street, Forest City, NC 28043.
