Obituary Gwendolyn Faye Rodenbaugh, age 65, passed away at South Lincoln Medical Center in Kemmerer, WY on January 21, 2020. Gwendolyn was born on September 21, 1954 in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Jack Darrell and Lois Marguerite (Doty) Dirksen. She married Partick Rodenbaugh in Kemmerer, WY on May 4, 1989. Gwendolyn obtained her Bachelors Degree in Education graduating from Greeley University in Greeley, Colorado. She taught elementary school in Lincoln County School District for 31 years. Gwendolyn was a lover of the great outdoors, and enjoyed spending time hunting, and fishing with her family. She enjoyed photography, and was an excellant phhotographer. She loved to cross country ski, and she along with her husband, Patrick, loved to be involved in the 4-H program in Lincoln County. Her greatest joy in life was her family, and spending time with all of them. She is survived by her husband, Partick Rodenbaugh, of Kemmerer, WY; her daughter, Trisha D Negri, of Kingman, AZ; her son, Dillon Brent Rodenbaugh, of Rock Springs, WY; three grandchildren, Trent, Talia, and Kaylin. She is survived by a sister, Cheryl Dirksen, and was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Darrell Dirksen. Her wishes were to be cremated, and Memorial Services and Inurnment will be held later on in the year. To send flowers to Gwendolyn’s family, please visit our floral section.
