Grace Koss, age 90 of Harbor Beach, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Lakeview Extended Care and Rehab Center of the Harbor Beach Community Hospital. She was born on September 10, 1929 in Parisville to the late Theodore and Rose (Nowiski) Palach. Grace and Clarence Koss were united in marriage on October 27, 1949. He preceded her in death on October 29, 2014. Grace was a member of Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing bingo and doing crafts. Grace is survived by her children: Sharon Horetski of Harbor Beach, Brian (Crystal) Koss of Lexington, 5 grandchildren: Matt (Sarah) Koss, Joe Koss, Stacy Koss, Mike (Kayla) Horetski, Shawn (Katie) Horetski, and 5 great grandchildren: Katie, Daniel, Nathan, Gavin, Lucas, and 2 sisters: Bernice Koglin of Harbor Beach, and Pat Midyett of Freemont. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandy Koss, great grandson infant Melvin Horetski, son-in-law Melvin Horetski, and her brother, Ira Palach. Funeral mass for Grace will be Friday, January 31, 2020 at 1pm at Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church, of the Holy Name of Mary Parish, with Fr. George Amos officiating. Burial will follow in the OLLH Church Cemetery. Visitation for Grace will be at the church, Friday, beginning at 12 pm until time of services at 1 pm.
