Obituary Evelyn Ann Hogg, 84, a resident of Baker City, Oregon died January 12, 2020 at her home. Funeral services for Mrs. Hogg will be held Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 2:00pm at Coles Tribute Center. Private interment will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Baker City. Mrs. Hogg was born October 7, 1935 in Baker City, Oregon, a daughter of Clyde E. & Estelle L. (Summers) Golar. She was raised in Baker City and received her education in Baker City and attended St. Francis Academy School of Music, playing the viola for many years. She married Ronald L. Hogg on June 1, 1954 in Winnemucca, Nevada. With their family they lived in San Diego, California returning to Baker City, Oregon in 1972. She felt her greatest accomplishment was “my three sons, Mike, Joe and Ted”. She is survived by: son & daughter-in-law Joseph & Gloria Hogg, San Diego, CA; son, Theodore Hogg, Hillsboro, OR; 4 grandchildren; Vanessa, Katina, Crystal & Calvin, 4 great-grandchildren; Jack, Ben, Robert & Shane; brother & sister-in-law, Vern & Valerie Golar, Baker City, OR and brother, Lee Golar of Salem, OR., also nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Michael and husband Ron.
