Eva’s Obituary Eva W. Timbrook, 79 of Cantonment, FL passed away Monday, December 30, 2019. Born March 9, 1940 in Bogalusa, LA Eva Timbrook was a faithful wife, beloved mother, grandmother, cherished sister and friend to many. She dedicated her life to the lives of others as a nurse and educator. She graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina/College of Nursing in Charleston and spent most of her career as a labor and delivery nurse. Eva continued her education and in 1993 she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of West Florida. She exemplified the highest ideals and achieved her highest goals. She faced her life and impending death with courage and grace. We will miss her all the days of our lives. She is preceded in death by her parents, James & Hazel Brumfield; siblings, James Paul Brumfield, Winnie Nell Querbes, and Carol Henderson; her son-in-law, Brett Whetsel and her husband of 55 years, David C. Timbrook, Jr. Eva is survived by her sister, Peggy (Charlie) Hudson of Houston, TX; her four children: Debra (Chuck) Whiteman of Cantonment, FL, Michael (Nancy) Timbrook of Cookeville, TN, Tamara Whetsel of Cantonment, FL, and John Paul (Natasha) Timbrook of Alton, NH; thirteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren (one arriving in February), and one great-great-granddaughter. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Covenant Care-Hospice, 5041 N. 12th Avenue, Pensacola, FL 32504. As per her wishes, a memorial service will not be held.
