A private graveside service for Eulene M. Loehr, age 79, was held on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Caldwell Masonic Cemetery with Pastor Wayne Calder officiating. Miss Loehr died at her home on January 14, 2020. She was born April 18, 1940 in Cooks Point, Texas, the only child of Fred W. and Elle (Prieve) Loehr. She never married. She graduated from Caldwell High School in 1959 receiving the English medal. Her first job (supposed to be a summer job only) was with the Burleson County A.S.C. office mainly measuring cotton acreage from aerial maps. Then she worked as a bookkeeper for Woodson Lumber Company of Caldwell for almost 22 years, and later was employed by the Burleson County Clerk’s office for some time. Eulene was a member of the First United Methodist in Caldwell. She had been the treasurer of the United Methodist Women for about 11 years before her declining health. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors are her cousins and her friends. Memorials may be made to the Caldwell Masonic Cemetery Association, or First United Methodist church of Caldwell.
