Obituary for Eugene E. Irish WYTOPITLOCK – Eugene E. Irish, 65, died Jan. 6, 2020 at his home with his family by his side. He was born July 15, 1954 in Bancroft, the son of Herschail & Dorothy (Bubar) Irish. Eugene enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and riding around but he especially loved spending time with his family. He was a member of the Wytopitlock Fish & Game Club, Baskahegan Lodge #175 of Danforth and the Anah Shriners of Bangor. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Loanne (Hanington) Irish of Wytopitlock; 2 children: Heather & Chris Gooley of Corinth and Eugene Irish of Enfield; 3 grandchildren: Cameron and Connor Gooley and Riley Irish; 2 sisters: Sandra Harvey of Lakeville and Althea Clifford of Haynesville; several nieces, nephews and cousins and many close friends as well as his favorite cat, Sadie. He was predeceased by his parents; 2 brothers: George and Maynard; and 2 sisters: Doris and Maxine. Friends may call from 2-3 PM, Sun, Jan. 12, 2020 at the Wytopitlock Baptist Church with a service to follow at 3 PM officiated by Rev. Steve Waite.
