Erma Kathryn Sparks, 87, of Ashland, passed away Tuesday January 14, 2020 at Hospice Care Center. She was born July 20, 1932 in Ashland, KY the daughter of the late Edward and Margaret Holley Hall. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Sparks; two sisters, Lucille Shelton and Gladys Fleming; and one brother, Bud Hall. She is survived by one daughter, Carla Faulkner (Fred) of Catlettsburg; one sister, Doris Jean Reffitt of Ashland; three grandsons, Ryan Faulkner (Nicole), Kurt Faulkner (Brandi) and Justin Faulkner (Chelsey Adkins); and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 PM Saturday January 18, 2020 at Miller Funeral Home with Danny Clarkston officiating. Burial will follow in Dixon Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until service time Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society at P.O.
