Eric James Haden Collins, 59, of Saint Cloud, FL passed away on December 31, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 17, 1960 to Sinclair and Elsie (Melville) Collins in Trinidad and Tobago. He attended school at for years and for years. Eric retired as a First Class Petty Officer from the United States Navy after 20 years of Service. He also was a flight attendant fro Southwest Airlines for 14 years, a job he really loved. Eric is survived by his loving family; wife, Liberty Garay Collins of St. Cloud, FL; daughter, Tanya (Jeffery) Collins-Gibson of Saint Cloud, FL; Son, Eric James Haden (Amanda Austin) Collins, Jr. of Indianapolis, IN; sisters, Erica Collins of Centerville, IA, Chyril Johnson of Queens, NY, Lucinda Swift of NY; brothers, Rawle Collins of NY, Dave Coillins of OR and grandson, Omarion Hamilton of St. Cloud, FL. The family will receive friends on Friday January 10, 2020 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday January 11, 2020 beginning at 4:00 PM. Mr. Collins will be laid to rest at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery at a later date.
