Eloise Jacobs, 62, of Somerset, died January 13, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson, New Brunswick. Born in Bartow, FL. Affectionately known as “Dee Dee” by her family and friends. She was employed by the New Brunswick Board of Education, as a Para Professional at Woodrow Wilson Elementary School in New Brunswick. A member of New Beginnings Deliverance Ministry, North Brunswick. Dee Dee was a former member of Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church in New Brunswick. Predecesed by the loves of her life, her husband, Johnnie “Champ” Jacobs and her dog Menace; parents, Joseph and Rev. Lula Mae Byrd; two siblings, Donna Manning and James Blue. Left to cherish her memories are two brothers, Rev. Anthony (Marian) Gibson, Tampa, FL and Michael Gibson, New Brunswick, NJ; two sisters, Gloria Huggins and Willie Belle Perdue, Bartow, FL and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Viewing is 8-9, Saturday, January 25, at Eternal Life Christian Center, 322 Franklin Blvd., Somerset. Service will follow at 9am, at the church.
