Edward’s Obituary Edward Gilbert III, 89, of Burlington, NJ, passed away on Friday, January 3rd, 2020, at Samaritan Inpatient Hospice, Mt Holly, NJ. He was born in Trenton, NJ, and lived in Hamilton Township and Bordentown, NJ before moving to Burlington, NJ in 2012. He proudly served in the National Guard. Ed owned and operated Gilbert’s Getty Station in Bordentown retiring in 1995. He enjoyed gardening, and loved cars. He was predeceased by his brother Robert and a sister Joan. He is survived by his former wife Audrey M. Gilbert; his four sons Charles (Lori) Karaffa, Timothy (Linda) Gilbert, David (Mary Ellen) Gilbert, and Steven (Donna) Gilbert; 1 brother Robert Gilbert; a sister Rose Marie Sellnow. He will be missed by his grandchildren Heather, Ryan A., Kyle, Ryan G., Katie, Amanda, Luke and Christopher; a great grandson Gabriel, and several nieces, nephews.
