Edith’s Obituary Edith Mae Harford, age 88, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2020 in Sebring, Florida. She was born on January 10, 1932 in Caryville, Florida to the late George D. and Ruby A. (Bell) Churchwell. She had been a resident of Highlands County since 1963 coming from Panama City, Florida. Edith enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, traveling and spending time with her family. She is survived by her Daughters – Carol McCullough (Neal) of Avon Park, FL; Connie Hancock (Gary Naylor) of Avon Park; Sister – Ethel Andrews of Panama City, FL; eight Grandchildren; nine Great-Grandchildren; six Great-Great-Grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husbands – William H. Retherford and Robert “Bob” Harford, Daughter – Barbara Joan Henderson, Sons – Willie H. Retherford, Dennis A. Retherford, Siblings – Franklin, Carl, Guy, Paul, and Frances. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, January 30, 2020 at 11:00am at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00am. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
