Dorine Brinkley Langley, 84, of Asheboro, died Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 3, 2020, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro, with Bishop Daryl Alexander officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. Born in Surry County, NC on November 17, 1935, Mrs. Langley was the daughter of the late Roy Hasten Brinkley and Irene Hiatt Brinkley. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints. She enjoyed watching her favorite soap operas and game shows on television. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray W. Langley; son, Kenny Ray Langley; brother, Hasten Brinkley; and sister, Genevieve Boles. Surviving are her daughter, Lisa Langley of the home; sister, Jeanette Browder and husband Bill of Asheboro; brother, Richard Brinkley and wife Rachel of Asheboro; and canine companion, “my baby Ginger”.
