Dean C. Dunn, 82, of Oklahoma City OK, formerly Peru, Granville & Lacon Illinois, died on January 11, 2020 at the Oklahoma City Veterans Hospital. Born in Lacon on October 8, 1937 to the late Morris and Priscilla Vest Dunn he married Alicia Henning on August 6 1960 in Hennipen and had six children. He was a Mid-County Graduate. Dean he entered the United States Marine Corps on 10-11-55 at Camp Pendleton and served in the Marine Detatchment guarding the Captain and Admiral aboard the USS Hancock. He was honorably discharged on 10-10-58 and worked at J&L (LTV) Steel as a supervisor. He owned Dunn Remodeling in Peru and taught line dancing. Dean is survived by: his children Michael Dunn of Oklahoma City, Stephanie (Dave) Sadnick of Florid, Chris (Christy) Dunn of Huntsville AL, Sean (Beata) Dunn of Princeton, Ellen Dunn of Berwyn, Jennifer (Dave) Couthard of Auburn CA; seven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Dean was the last surviving child of Morris and Priscilla Dunn; he was preceded by five brothers and one sister. Funeral services for Dean will be held Friday, January 17 at 11 AM at Lenz Memorial Home with a visitation held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery where military rites will be accorded.
